How We’ll Work Together
Every editing project starts with a clear scope of work—including detailed service definitions—so you’ll know exactly what to expect. Most projects include at least two editorial passes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and flow. For authors seeking a polished, publication-ready manuscript, there may be three or four.
I’ll check in along the way to clarify any details and confirm revisions before final delivery. If you’re working under tight deadlines or budget constraints, I’ll help you balance speed, cost, and quality—without sacrificing clarity or impact.
Here’s how the process works:
You fill out a short intake form. You can attach your manuscript or a sample.
I review your goals and send back an estimate. I may follow up with a few questions.
You approve the estimate—or we refine it together.
I send a contract with a retainer, a kickoff meeting option, and a delivery/payment schedule.
You finalize any open items. Once I receive your materials, editing begins.
You’ll receive at least one update during the project.
When it’s done, I send your deliverables for review and approval.
I remain available for questions or clarifications after delivery.
Not quite sure what level of editing you need? I’m happy to offer guidance; just ask.
Because every document is unique, the ranges below are for guidance only.
Each project begins with a tailored estimate and a signed contract—never a one-click purchase.
